Millions of families in Yemen struggle daily to secure their basic food needs.
Through our Food Security and Livelihoods Program, Al-Wafa for Yemen provides life-saving food assistance while helping communities build resilience and self-reliance.
We distribute emergency food baskets and nutritional support to the most vulnerable households, restore livelihoods for small farmers, and empower families to generate sustainable income through agricultural and vocational initiatives.
Our goal is not only to fight hunger today but to create pathways toward long-term food stability and economic recovery.

Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH)
Access to clean and safe water is a basic human right — yet millions in Yemen still rely on unsafe sources, exposing families to life-threatening diseases.
Through our WASH Program, Al-Wafa for Yemen works to improve access to clean water and promote healthy hygiene practices in the most vulnerable communities.
Our projects include rehabilitating and digging wells, providing water tanks to remote villages, distributing hygiene kits, and conducting awareness campaigns about safe sanitation and hand-washing.

Health & Nutrition
Yemen’s health system continues to face immense challenges, leaving millions of people—especially children and pregnant women—without access to essential healthcare.
Through the Health & Nutrition Program, Al-Wafa for Yemen provides life-saving medical services to the most vulnerable communities.
Our interventions include supporting mobile health clinics, delivering medicines and medical supplies to remote areas, and implementing nutrition programs for children under five and pregnant or lactating women.
Education Support
Education Support
Education is the foundation of hope and progress — yet thousands of children in Yemen are unable to attend school due to poverty, displacement, or damaged facilities.
Through the Education Support Program, Al-Wafa for Yemen helps children continue their learning by providing school supplies, restoring classrooms, and supporting teachers in under-resourced areas.
We work to ensure that every child, especially girls and displaced students, has access to a safe and inclusive learning environment.
By empowering the next generation through education, we invest in Yemen’s future and nurture a culture of resilience and opportunity.
Women & Youth Empowerment
Women & Youth Empowerment
Empowering women and youth is at the heart of Al-Wafa for Yemen’s mission to build sustainable, resilient communities.
Through our Women & Youth Empowerment Program, we provide vocational training, entrepreneurship support, and small grants that help individuals start their own income-generating projects.
Women learn practical skills such as sewing, handicrafts, and food processing, while young people are trained in digital literacy, agriculture, and small business management.
By unlocking potential and fostering independence, we help transform lives — from reliance on aid to self-sufficiency and community leadership.
